In early January MassHealth is releasing a new MassHealth Medical Benefits Request (MBR), the application for state-subisized health care. The new MBR includes new questions that help determine eligibility for Commonwealth Care.
Orders for paper MBRs can be placed now by calling MassHealth Customer Service at 1-800-841-2900. Orders received before the new version is ready will be held until the new MBR is available. Please use the new MBR to replace any other MBRs you may have on hand. MassHealth recommends discarding any old versions to avoid unintended confusion.
These questions will also appear on the Virtual Gateway.
