Community outreach funding available for FY08

The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) announced a new request for proposals to determine funding for outreach and enrollment assistance for MassHealth, Commonwealth Care, and Commonwealth Choice - the 'mini-grant' program - on August 29, 2007.

• Proposals are due September 26 at 5pm.
• Grant awards will range from $50,000 - $65,000 and will be announced in October.
• Applications should include plans for outreach, marketing, enrollment and redetermination assistance for MassHealth, Commonwealth Care and Commonwealth Choice and other 'state and state-enabled programs for the uninsured.'
• Previous grantees may re-apply, but funding will not automatically renew.
