Frontline workers need more preparation regarding health care reform

Submitted by kari on June 27, 2006 - 3:26pm.

Responses to a June 2006 survey of frontline workers providing direct enrollment assistance indicated that a majority feel they do not have all the information and tools they need to help their clients. Of the 106 respondents representing a range of organizations across the Commonwealth, 54% indicated they felt they were not prepared for the July 1 changes. They identified specific information and tools they lack and made concrete suggestions for remedies.

Thank you to the many participants in our Health Access Network who shared their insights.
