The Vietnamese-American Civic Association (VACA), in Dorchester, faces a budget deficit that may compromise its ability to continue its work. Founded in 1984 by Vietnamese refugees, VACA offers many services, including ESL and citizenship classes, health awareness and outreach activities, counseling, youth programming, elderly services, and employment services.

VACA is committed to continuing as many services as they can, given their financial situation. The VACA Board of Directors invites everyone who is interested to a public meeting. VACA seeks advice, opinions, and any kind of assistance from the community.
